The Percy Fyfe Nature Reserve (PFNR), one of the oldest nature reserves in the province, is located in the Waterberg district of Limpopo Province, South Africa and is situated approximately 45 km to the south-east of Polokwane, 30 km to the north-east of Mokopane and 250 km to the north of Pretoria.
The PFNR was named after the late Mr Percy Poynton Fyfe, who donated his farm to the State to be used for conservation and environmental education purposes.
The maintenenace and good management of the Percy Fyfe and Witvinger Nature Reserves are our main concerns.
The Friends of Percy Fyfe and Witvinger Nature Reserves work on a membership basis. A friend of Percy Fyfe is someone who contributes something to the upkeep and conservation of this unique eco system.
